I want to post some not only good but, good for you recipes. I just don't have any right now. Oh, but here's a trick. I've been dicing fresh fruit (peaches, strawberries, etc.)into a bowl of skim milk with Splenda and sticking it in the freezer. It's good. Try it.

That actually does sound good. I've been eating lots of fresh fruit lately, as well. And trying to eat more veggies and less crap.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I forgot to bring food to work tonight and I just ate a sausage biscuit from the cafe, so I've got that going for me.
I've recently become consumed by cooking and Eric has been bitten by the baking bug, so I certainly hope you will revive this blog.
ReplyDeletePlans for this weekend include sourdough bread he made with his own starter...from rye flour he ground himself...I KNOW!!!! Also pizza dough from the same sourdough starter (that would otherwise be thrown away). What can I say, I'm thrifty like that.
And to top it all off, I am finally trying my hand at cheesecake. And I don't mean that no-bake crap you get in a box at the grocery store. I'm talking real, baked in the oven, cheesecake.
I'm going to be so fat.
